When 8 very talented women get together in a retreat center, far away from their own kitchens, magic happens. There's always an opinion, or two or four about what fabrics go together, where to organize the placement of each quilt block and whether to unsew or not? Friendships and camaraderie seem to be stronger at retreat.  The KP Quilt Retreat Center in Forsyth was the best place I've been to for comfort.
